For a global elevator electrical products manufacturer serving 83 countries and regions, DELIECN supplied  a  pallet  stacker crane AS/RS system designed for large-diameter, high-weight cable reels. The project converts traditional floor stacking into a structured high-rise automated warehouse, significantly increasing storage density and handling capacity.

Project Background

The warehouse stores industrial cable reels with:

• Diameter: 500mm–1100mm
• Weight: 450kg–1000kg per reel
• Multiple specifications
• High-frequency inbound and outbound operations

Traditional forklift handling and floor stacking limited storage density and operational efficiency as production and export orders increased.

System Configuration

The automated warehouse includes:

• heavy-load stacker cranes
• Nearly 3,000 storage locations
• High-rise heavy-duty racking
• Automated transfer interface
• Integrated Warehouse Management System (WMS)

The   pallet  stacker crane layout improves throughput and ensures stable daily operation under continuous heavy-load handling conditions.

After commissioning, the AS/RS system achieved:
